My mother, Paula and her friend, Mona, were prayer walking when they saw a homeless man under a bridge.  They decided to go by McDonalds and buy him some food.  They continued to visit, pray and bring him food for a few weeks.  Then he asked them if he could go to church with them.  The next Sunday they went by and picked him up and took him to church. The people of the church prayed for him. After church several people went to eat.  He chose not to eat, he didn't want them to think he was just looking for a handout.  He was just thankful for their friendship.  That day was a life-changing experience for him.  When Paula and Mona went back to visit him, under the bridge, he was gone and another homeless man was there.  They asked where their friend was and he said "the strangest thing happened.  Two women came by and fed him and took him to their church.  Then all of the sudden everything changed in his life.  He now has a job and some people offered him a place to stay until he got on his feet."  You never know how far an act of kindness will go and how much it can affect someone's life.
