I was listening to a radio station out of Austin (94.7) a week or so ago and the DJ started her shift by saying what a great day she was having. She went on to explain that she had decided to have a donut for breakfast that morning.....a rare treat. At the donut shop she realized when she went to pay that she did not have any cash and was debating on whether or not to charge her small purchase on a credit card. It was then that the guy behind her insisted on buying her a donut saying that it was only a dollar or so. The DJ said that it made her day and was reminded of how little it actually takes to make the day of a stranger. We may never know what kind of impact our random acts of kindness - big or small - may have, but we should always know that they will make a difference -big or small.
