Not only does Walmart save their shoppers money but they give to help our military troops.  Walmart has quite a few organizations to support our troops ranging from adopting families whose loved ones are deployed to honoring local heroes on Walls of Honor inside Walmart stores and Sams Clubs.  They teamed up with Wreaths Across America to remember and honor veterans and American heros that rest in our National Cemetaries across the United States.  In December, 2008 Walmart trucks delivered 6 truck trailers full of wreaths to many cemetaries across the country.  
They also assist members of the military in issuing grants.  Grants totaling $3.6 million were awarded to 12 organizations whose programs help veterans get access to education, afford college, adjust to civilian life and successfully graduate. 
Walmart is a great American organization.
