Paula Dickson was short one bag when she arrived home Sunday night after a relaxing Caribbean cruise. The missing bag was filled with thousands of dollars worth of jewelry that had even more emotional value to Dickson.
"It's not monetary," she said. "It's sentimental and that's what was upsetting me all day."

Tired from her day of travel, Dickson couldn't remember where she might have misplaced the bag. Even worse, she couldn't remember the name of the taxi company that drove her home.

Dickson spent much of Monday calling every taxi company in San Antonio. She even went back to the airport, but her search turned up nothing.

"Sometimes you think no one's going to bring it back. No one is going to give it back to me," said Dickson.

Dickson was in the process of contacting local television stations telling them about her lost bag when she got a call from Concord Cab Company. One of their drivers had found her bag in his cab.

"I can't believe somebody handed it in," said Dickson.

She was finally able to breath a sigh of relief when cab driver Ali Nassar pulled up in front of her Olmos Park home with her black bag in his hands.

Thrilled to have her missing bag back with all of its contents intact, Dickson pulled out her check book and offered Nassar a reward.

"You really didn't have to do that," said an embarrassed Nassar. "I'm just doing my job."

"No, honestly I did," said Dickson. "You truly made my day. That's 20 years of things I've collected."

In the end, Dickson said Nassar not only recovered her missing bag, he also restored her faith in her fellow man.

"It just shows you how much there is still love in this world," said Dickson.<!--stopindex-->
